Surround Yourself with Motivational Messages and Images to Create Success

If you want to succeed in any aspect of your life, you must surround yourself with motivational messages and images.

I am a big believer of if you want to create a successful life that you will love living, you must create a mindset and an environment that will help you reach your goals.

Simply put, I always tell people that if you can believe it, you can achieve it.   Unfortunately, for many of us it is hard for us to believe that we can achieve all our dreams.  I believe that is because in our society we are focused in on negative thoughts.  We are more often told what we did wrong and what we cannot do.  Constant bombardment of negative vibes leads us to searching for and seeing only the negative in the world.  When we do this, we do not see our potential for success, we start seeing every obstacle as a reason why we will fail.  Over time we fear everything and fulfill the quote “fear has killed more dreams than failure ever will.”

As I plan the remodel of my home office, I have decided to combat the negative world and the negative thoughts that like to creep into my mind that want to sabotage me from fulfilling what God has called me to do: Empower others in the disabled community to create successful lives that they will love living.

The first thing I am doing is covering my office with inspirational wall art with two pastors thar are currently on my bedroom’s wall:  To Achieve Your Dreams, Remember Your A B C’s and the Achieve Your Dreams poster.

A photo of Chris, wearing a yellow happy face shirt with “Jesus makes me smile” printed on it. Chris’ arms are stretched out. His right hand is pointing tyo a framed poster “To Achieve Your Dreams, Remember Your A B C’s” and his left hand points to a framed poster “Achieve Your Dreams”

I am not stopping there.  I am creating graphics that not only will I be sharing on my Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts, but I will have rotating on my 32-inch TV screen that is mounted to the wall.

Words are not the only way I am going to make my work environment ooze with motivation and positive vibes, I am also using imagery.

The imagery that I have chosen are the images of hot air balloons ascending into the sky.

I choose the balloons because the image of them ascending into the sky represents how we can all rise above our obstacles to create the successful lives that we will love living.

Every time I watch hot air balloons ascend into the sky, regardless of if I am watching it in person or via a stream from a balloon festival, it reminds me that every person who is living with a disability, can achieve the success they desire and deserve in all aspects of their lives and that fuels me to fulfill what God has called me to do.

You can do the same in your space, regardless of if your space is a home office like mine or jut a wall in a bedroom, fill it with whatever inspires and motivates you to succeed.
