Lois Strachan is a coach, speaker, bestselling author, disability advocate, podcaster – and rock musician. She is totally blind, having lost her sight at the age of 21 as a result of diabetes. Through her various platforms, Lois demystifies disability to build inclusion of persons with disabilities into society and the workplace.

A past president: the Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa Cape Chapter, past District Governor: of Toastmasters International Southern Africa, and director of two non-profit organizations. She achieved a Bachelor of Arts Honours (University of KwaZulu-Natal), and is a qualified coach. Lois loves reading, music, travel, and spending time playing with her two rescue dogs.
