Blind author Lois Strachan talks about the role self-confidence plays in living a full life without sight.

Lois Strachan is a coach, speaker, bestselling author, disability advocate, podcaster – and rock musician. She is totally blind, having lost her sight at the age of 21 as a result of diabetes. Through her various platforms, Lois demystifies disability to build inclusion of persons with disabilities into society and the workplace.

 Lois assists organizations in fostering inclusion and diversity within their workforce, services, and digital presence. A past president: the Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa Cape Chapter, past District Governor: of Toastmasters International Southern Africa, and director of two non-profit organizations. She achieved a Bachelor of Arts Honours (University of KwaZulu-Natal), and is a qualified coach. Lois loves reading, music, travel, and spending time playing with her two rescue dogs.
