According to the CDC, there is more than 5.4 million Americans who are on the Autism spectrum. There are a lot of resources for Autistic children and their parents (which there should be as children re our future), but not enough support and resources for adults who are on the spectrum – especially those who were diagnosed later in life,
It is my opinion that Autistic adults, regardless of if they suspect they are Autistic, self-identify as Autistic or have received a late diagnosis of Autism do not receive the support and resources to thrive. I want to change that.
Starting this Friday – November 1st, I am embarking on a 90-day video challenge.
From Friday November 1st, until January 29th, 2025, I will be posting a new video each day at 2 pm Central time on the topic of adult Autism.
